Scenario:
The news threads/messages do not appear immediately on the right-hand top window when a newsgroup is selected.

Possible Causes:

Possibilty 1: The newsgroup is empty, that is nobody has posted any messages on it yet.

Solution:
None

Possibilty 1: The news server is busy authenticating users and retrieving messages.

Solution:
Be patient. Click on the newsgroup and wait for a few minutes, the news server is processing your request. Press F5 to refresh the screen.
